Redirects

Redirects allow you to make a specific web page redirect to another page and display the contents of that page. This way you can make a page with a long URL accessible by a page which has a shorter and easier to remember URL.

Add Redirect:

A permanent redirect will notify the visitor's browser to update any bookmarks that are linked to the page that is being redirected. Temporary redirects will not update the visitor's bookmarks.

Wild Card Redirect

Note:
If you want create a wildcard redirect to redirect all files in the directory (example: http://sourcedomain/sourceurl/file.html  redirects to→  http://redirectdomain/redirecturl/file.html) be sure to check the Wild Card Redirect box. If you wish to redirect your main domain, subdomains, etc to a sub directory, do not check the Wild Card Redirect box. This would create a loop, breaking the redirect. As a result, if you do try to do this, the redirect will not be created and you will see the error on the next page. You can redirect your main domain, subdomains, etc to a subdirectory successfully by leaving the Wild Card Redirect box unchecked.
